Mobile Skills Crew Trail Building Event - Murphy Flowage Recreation Area, Rusk County
Come join the fun as we return to Murphy Flowage Recreation Area in Rusk County. Tasks at hand include crafting a signature 36-foot-long pedestrian bridge and relocating and upgrading existing trail to enhance hikers' experiences in this beautiful area.
We'll provide meals and a place to camp for event participants. You are welcome to come for all or any part of the event, and no previous trail-building experience is necessary!

Chippewa Moraine Chapter's National Trails Day Hike at Cornell
Celebrate National Trails Day and our Fiftieth Anniversary at a hike on the eastern section of the IAT near the Chippewa River. Meet at 10 AM at the IAT Trailhead Parking area, Hwy CC, northwest of Cornell. Explore the newest segments of the trail in Chippewa County, and enjoy special treats and prizes as we celebrate the anniversary. |

Seminars and trainings will include Crew Leader Skills, Event Planning, Care & Feeding of Trail Crews and Chainsaw Safety.

Our annual mid-summer potluck supper and conversation about the trail: Join us at the Chippewa Moraine Visitor Center (east of New Auburn) for this always-pleasant evening outside on the hill overlooking the prairie flowers, glacial lakes, and forested hills of the Chippewa Moraine. We'll keep business to a minimum as we share our stories about our outdoor activities and trail adventures. |
