Dane County Chapter

Chapter Information

One of the original IAPTF chapters, the Dane County Chapter sponsors more than 30 events and activities each year. These include Trail building and maintenance outings, hikes and interpretive walks and prairie and woodland restoration projects. The chapter promotes public awareness of the Ice Age Trail at the Dane County Farmers’ Market and through displays at annual outdoor and restoration events.

For those hiking through Dane and Green counties, contact Theresa W (wanderwi50@yahoo.com) or
Jen Stehley-Mattewson (jenstehley@hotmail.com) for “Trail Angel” assistance.  Theresa and Jen can also connect you with new hiking pals who are exploring the entire Ice Age Trail year-round; piecing together the dashed line one segment at a time.
