Northwoods Chapter
The Northwoods Chapter is one of the oldest Ice Age Trail Alliance chapters. The chapter has a segment “adoption” program which divides Trail segments into manageable distances for volunteers to maintain. As of May 2009, there are 28 sections with 49 volunteers operating.
The chapter also has a rich history of working with youth groups, the Wisconsin Conservation Corps, Mobile Skills Crew and volunteers from throughout the state to build new Trail segments and maintain existing ones in the county.
