Mobile Skills Crew Trail Building Event - Murphy Flowage Recreation Area, Rusk County
Come join the fun as we return to Murphy Flowage Recreation Area in Rusk County. Tasks at hand include crafting a signature 36-foot-long pedestrian bridge and relocating and upgrading existing trail to enhance hikers' experiences in this beautiful area.
We'll provide meals and a place to camp for event participants. You are welcome to come for all or any part of the event, and no previous trail-building experience is necessary!

“Prairie & Lupines along the Ice Age Trail”. Located in the oak savanna. Meet at Stratton Lake IAT Parking Lot. Take HWY 54 east from Plover about 20 miles to CTY “D”, turn right and take CTY “D” south for about 1 ½ miles, continue straight south on Stratton Lake Road where CTY “D” turns west; follow Stratton Lake Road, as it continues south for one mile and then east for about ¼ mile to the trailhead parking area on the south side of Stratton Lake Road.
