We will  cut and herbicide autumn olive, honeysuckle, buckthorn, and sumac as well as herbaceous weeds on the west ridge goat prairie on Center Bluff.  If time permits, we’ll also remove Japanese hedge parsley from the oak savannas of Center Bluff.   Meet at the kiosk lot on Lodi Springfield Rd.  (map, directions). From there we will use several vehicles to haul equipment and people closer to the work sites  We will use brush cutters, loppers and possibly parsnip predators.  If you have a brush cutter or hand clippers, please bring along.  Sturdy boots with good traction are a must on the steep west ridge slope.  Bring plenty of water, a hat for sun protection, a long sleeve shirt for protection from parsnip juice and thorny brush, insect repellant and work gloves.
