Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Tyke Hike

July 31 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Join us on a hike along the Hartland Segment of the Ice Age Trail. All families are welcome! Hartland is the first city in Wisconsin be recognized as an Ice Age Trail Community. Hikers will walk a mostly-paved trail that passes beside the Bark River and through parks in downtown Hartland.

Tyke Hikes are short, slow-paced hikes promoting nature and family hiking on a portion of the Ice Age Trail.  They emphasize children’s natural curiosity and provide opportunities for exploration, discovery and play. Tyke Hikes last approximately 1-2 hours and can cover up to 1.5 miles. They are led. by Peter Dargatz, a forest kindergarten teacher and Ice Age Trail volunteer.

We will meet at the Hartland Library.
