This urban segment highlights the city of Manitowoc and its rich maritime history and includes a lengthy stretch along the shores of Lake Michigan.

The segment begins at the intersection of Rapids Road (CTH-R) and Broadway Street where it winds through Schuette Park for 1.3 miles, mostly along the Manitowoc River. As the Trail heads into the City of Manitowoc it passes by area attractions like Rahr West Art Museum and the Wisconsin Maritime Museum which offers interactive exhibits that explore the maritime history of Wisconsin and the Great Lakes. The segment ambles along the Manitowoc River, offering views of the Manitowoc Breakwater Light which has a 165-year history of guiding ships in and out of Manitowoc Harbor.
