Be a Nature Princess … At Any Age!

Be Fanciful. Be a Force of Nature. Be a Nature Princess…at any age! Make a crown, dust off your boots, and come explore the wild kingdom on the Dunes Segment of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Photo by Woodland Dunes Nature Center staff.

Be Adventurous. Do Princesses climb trees and get dirty? Absolutely. This program, inspired by the children’s book, “Do Princesses Wear Hiking Boots?”, is designed to be a royally good time, packed with opportunities to get out and get messy.

Be Silly. Be your own style of Princess. Being a Princess is about a place in your heart and anyone can be one! Photo by Woodland Dunes Nature Center staff.

Be Audacious, Brave, and Messy. Wearing princess attire that is able to get dirty along with hiking boots/tennis shoes is highly encouraged! Photo by Dave Caliebe.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Bring your daughters, grandmothers, aunts, nieces and other royal descendants to share in the fun of making nature crowns, climbing trees, and even getting a little dirty. After exploring all of the land, relax, and enjoy tea time and a healthy snack.

Be Kind. Princesses are generous with their loyal subjects. Make a bird feeder to take home and help the feathered creatures in your own majestic kingdom.
