Be Resilient. A winter’s day hike encourages health and resilience.
Be Reconnected. Nourish your body and soul with some fresh-air time outdoors, even during the cold wintry days of the year.

Be Inspired. Enjoy a self guided snowshoe hike along the Ice Age Trail during the winter hiking season.
Be BLISSFUL 2021:
To help slow the spread of COVID-19, our 2021 Trailtessa Be Blissful snowshoe hike will be a self-guided (on your own) hike anywhere along the Ice Age Trail anytime February 20-21, 2021.
The Ice Age Trail Alliance invites women and girls of all ages and all abilities to explore and enjoy winter hiking anywhere along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail anytime the weekend of February 20-21. Share your adventure with the Ice Age Trail and Trailtessa community using hashtags #Trailtessa, #BeBlissful, #IceAgeTrail, #OptOutside, #ForceOfNature.
Do you have questions about winter hiking, what to wear, or where to go? Join the Alliance and REI for a pre-hike virtual workshop on Thursday, February 4 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm with an introduction to winter hiking and snowshoeing, gear and clothing suggestions, and Ice Age Trail segment recommendations for snowshoeing (fingers crossed there will be snow somewhere along the Trail).
Registration: $6.00 non-refundable fee to save your seat at the virtual pre-hike workshop.
There is NO cost to hike.
Please practice social distancing and wear a mask if needed before, during and after hiking.
Women and girls of all ages and abilities are welcome!
Registration closes for the pre-hike workshop on Monday, February 1. A Zoom link for the workshop will be sent to all registered attendees on Tuesday, February 2.
