CANCELLED: Trailtessa: Be STRONG.
The Ice Age Trail Alliance’s highest priority is the health and well-being of our staff, volunteers, and hiking community during the rapidly evolving health concern of the Coronavirus/COVID-19. The Alliance has been carefully monitoring the pandemic and is using information provided by the World Health Organization, the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to inform and develop policies to protect our wider Ice Age Trail community and help prevent the spread of the virus.
In the interest of our attendees and general public we made the difficult decision to cancel Trailtessa: Be STRONG on May 9th at the Kettle Moraine State Forest-Southern Unit. Registration is closed.
Be Strong. Breath in beautiful views and exhale stress. Recharge in a sea of early spring greenery along the Scuppernong Segment as it wends its way through the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Southern Unit.
Be Vibrant. Feel the wind and sunshine on your skin, listen for bird calls. Pay attention to the vivid colors of spring and the textures of trees, grass, and the tread itself.
Be Enough. Research shows by the time a young girl reaches the age of 15, her interest in math and science declines. Her focus shifts from deepening her natural abilities to caring more about meeting societal standards for women’s behavior and appearance. Yoga on the Trail is a grounding, nurturing, and reassuring experience. Join us!
