As the snow melts, trees bud out, and wildflowers begin adding a glimmer of color to the Trail, chapter-led hikes begin populating the Ice Age Trail Alliance calendar in earnest.

As the weather warms and the days grow longer, evening hikes become a lovely way to wind down and extend the sweetness of outdoor play time.
Sunday, April 29: It’s always a thrill to watch the sunset shimmer on Indian Lake, so join the Dane County Chapter for their Night Hike. The Lodi Valley Chapter is offering a short stroll under a spring moon with their Full Moon Hike.

Give Mother Earth a little extra love and participate in a Trail Cleanup Day hosted by the Chippewa Moraine Chapter.
A John Muir Birthday Party and Earth Day Clean-up is a joint event with the Marquette County Chapter of the Ice Age Trail and the WI Friends of John Muir.
Sunday, April 22:
Hunt down early spring flowers during the Walworth/Jefferson County Chapter’s Earth Day Hike.
The Washington/Ozaukee County Chapter is offering a 6.2-mile Earth Day Hike along the popular Holy Hill Segment.
