Holy Hill Segment

This hike celebrating the 52nd anniversary of Earth Day will take place on the Holy Hill Segment of the Ice Age Trail.  In forest openings along the hike route, there will be views of Holy Hill’s kame and the Basilica on top of it.

LOCATION: Meet at the Holy Hill lower parking lot, off Carmel Road south of Highway 167. Click here for driving directions. Watch for yellow “Ice Age Trail Event” signs.

HIKE DESCRIPTION: We will use the blue connector trail to join the main Ice Age Trail, then head east and south to Donegal Road.  We will then turn around and head back the same way.  Approximate total hike distance of 3.2 miles.

WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable hiking boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water and a camera.
