2108 Wisconsin Geocaching Association Annual Picnic

September 19, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Join the Ice Age Trail Alliance on Saturday, September 22 at the 2018 Wisconsin Geocaching Association (WGA) Annual Picnic at Devil’s Lake – Red Oak Shelter. Registration opens at 8:30 am and the event runs all day until 6:30 pm.

There will be an Ice Age Trail Alliance table near the registration area with more information about getting involved in ColdCaching. ColdCaching is an exciting way to explore and learn about the many natural features along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. If you are looking for a family-friendly activity that allows you to experience the thrill of a treasure hunt, learn important navigational skills and develop an appreciation for Wisconsin’s fascinating Ice Age history, ColdCaching is for you.

At 9:30 am there will be a guided hike to find a ColdCache. Meet at the registration area and depart as a group. You will be able to earn the first “Snowflake” patch for the caches you will find, and be on your way to earning all all five patches.
