Chippewa Moraine Solstice Hike

June 20 @ 7:00 pm

Free

Celebrate the Solstice on the longest evening of the year at a family hike on the Ice Age Trail. Meet at the Obey Interpretive Center at the Chippewa Moraine near New Auburn for a 7 PM hike. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Bring the kids on this 1.5 hour hike to see what’s in the woods on a warm summer evening! Games for kids, too.
Two hikes–Discovery for the young kids and their parents, and Adventure, for older kids and adults–are planned in addition to the games and exhibits at the Interpretive Center. Neat gear for the young kids, and “solstice refreshments” are featured.
Co-supported by Mayo Clinic Health System.
