We’ll work along Badger Mill Creek where Operation Fresh Start crews already have cut and piled a considerable amount of invasive brush and weed trees.  We’ll use chain saws (operated by those with proper training and PPE) to add to the existing slash piles and perhaps start new ones that can be burned with snow cover.  There will be plenty of hand work hauling and piling slash and spraying stumps with herbicide.  If temperatures are above freezing, a second task will be using backpack sprayers to apply foliar herbicide to first year garlic mustard plants along the trail corridor while most native plants already are dormant.  Meet at the footbridge at the south end of Lincoln St (map/directions).
