We’ll hike most of the Cross Plains segment, most of which is a partial loop to and above the bluffs on the north side of town.  The route above the village traverses restored oak savanna, planted prairie and mostly oak woodland.  It’s quite popular with local residents who can walk to one of three access points.  We’ll met at the picnic shelter on Jovina Street between the Rosemary Garfoot Library and the swimming pool.  Total distance is about 2.5 miles.
