We will return to the village of Cross Plains Glacial Valley Conservancy for another round of corridor clearing.  We will add to the great work done in January and February.  All of this effort prepares the way for building a new section of Ice Age National Scenic Trail, August 8-12 during a Mobile Skills Crew/Cross Plains Trail Community celebration.  Park on Bourbon Rd.  Remember to bring water, snacks and lunch if you are staying past lunch time.  Please see Workday Gear for more information on clothing, etc.

 Some of our work will be on steep slopes, so bring cleats for your boots if you wish.

To help the leader arrange for the right amount of hand tools for the work party, please call or email him in advance if you plan to come.  Also, please let him know if this is your first volunteer work on the Ice Age Trail, so that he can send you a National Park Service volunteer agreement form to complete.
