Ice Age Trail Alliance Members – We’ve got a special treat for you!

Kick off the 2022 Mammoth Hike Challenge in Cross Plains!

The Ice Age Trail Alliance staff and volunteers are offering shuttles on Saturday, October 1, 2022 to kick of the Mammoth Hike Challenge! Alliance staff and volunteers are available to shuttle hikers to the Indian Lake and the Table Bluff segments. There are two options for shuttles.

1. Meet at Scheele Road at the south end of the Table Bluff segment. The shuttle will drop off at Indian Lake County Park. You’ll hike back to your vehicle to complete 10.8 total miles (2.5miles Indian Lake segment, 3.5 miles of connecting road, 4.8 miles Table Bluff segment).
2. Meet at Scheele Road at the south end of the Table Bluff segment. The shuttle will drop off at Liebetrau Prairie. You’ll hike back to your vehicle to complete the entire 4.8-mile Table Bluff segment.

Registration is required to save your seat on the shuttle (space is limited). 

If you are looking for a guided hike in the Cross Plains area, join our Dane County Chapter at 9:00 am at the Ice Age Trail Alliance office (2110 Main Street, Cross Plains). They are hosting a 3-mile guided hike along a portion of the Cross Plains segment on Saturday morning, October 1: Dane County Chapter Hike – Cross Plains Segment – Ice Age Trail Alliance
