Trail Corridor Clearing, Cross Plains Reserve
March 15, 2019 @ 9:00 am - March 16, 2019 @ 4:00 pm
Overview:
Early spring is a great time to converse with Sandhill cranes and gear up for summer trail work. There will be plenty of brush to clear, chainsaw work and herbicide application to reveal this driftless story in stone.
No previous experience is necessary; training is provided by certified volunteer crew leaders. There will be roles for all ages and abilities. The IATA will provide food, tools, and fun to all who volunteer.

We will meet at the new parking lot on the south side of Old Sauk Pass (map/directions) at 9am each morning. Nearest address is 8075 Old Sauk Pass, Cross Plains.

- Plan for variable weather – bring warm layers and rain gear.
- Sturdy hiking or work boots (no tennis shoes) and leather work gloves.
- Day pack and a couple of water bottles.
Special Notes:
We love dogs, but we ask that you not bring them to this event. Woolly mammoths are welcome.
