The Ice Age Trail’s route through the park stays close to most of the south shore of the scenic lake.  A side trail along the north shore permits the hiker to loop back to the main lot and the hike’s point of origin.  The walk around the lake is perhaps three miles.  Other trails in the park afford additional opportunities.
