This relatively easy walk will cover the IAT’s Madison Segment between the lot at the junction of High Point and McKee Rd (our assembly point) and Woods Rd near the west side of University Ridge Golf Course.  It includes substantial oak savanna green space in the Ice Age Falls subdivision and planted prairie between Raymond Rd and Hwy M.  It then meanders through University Ridge unspoiled by golf (apologies to Mark Twain for the unartful paraphrase of his quip).  The one-way distance is 3.2 miles.  You’ll have both one-way and round trip options and, depending on turnout, perhaps a chance to start at the Woods Rd end.  It may  help everyone if you contact the leader in advance with your wishes.
