Come out this Sunday and enjoy the beautiful fall weather and help continue the restoration project at Moraine Kettles in Verona!  The new trail is in and now it’s time to remove more of the “unneeded” trees to open up the oak savanna and improve trail views.  We’ll be cutting trees and brush and making brush piles, so bring your chainsaw if you’re certified and have protective equipment.  Leader will bring loppers and other hand tools as well as some refreshments.  Bring lunch if you can stay until the afternoon (Packers don’t play until 3:25 if that concerns you). 

For those of you who prefer to do trail work – there is still some “finishing work” to do on a section of the new trail nearby. If you’d like to come and work on that, let the leader know and he’ll bring some trail tools, too.
