This property, owned by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, is one of the component parcels of the Cross Plains Ice Age National Scientific Reserve.  We will clear brush invading the oak savanna on the east side of the sink, now a wildlife pond.  There may be some work for chain sawyers or brush cutter operators; contact leader for details.  Meet at the small parking lot (visible in Google Earth view) on the west side of Timber Lane perhaps 0.3 miles north of Mineral Point Rd.  (Map/directions.)
