We will continue removing weed trees from this farmstead turned prairie, either from old fence rows or in the trashy box elder woods in the southeast corner.  Meet initially along Pine Road in the Town of Berry on the west edge of the site (map/directions).  Properly trained and equipped chain sawyers are needed and welcome.  There will also be plenty of work hauling and piling the cuttings and treating the stumps with herbicide, as well as work for those preferring to use hand tools.  If we have snow cover, we’ll burn piles and cook sausage on a stick over the coals for lunch.  Wear old, natural fabrics (no synthetics) to work around fires.  Contact leader for further details.
