September 15, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Potawatomi State Park Eastern Terminus

The Presentation

As the Ice Age Trail Alliance kicks off the third annual Mammoth Hike Challenge during the month of October, join the Alliance for a virtual introductory presentation about exploring and hiking the Ice Age National Scenic Trail hosted by the Door County Library.

Be inspired for an adventure!

One of only 11 National Scenic Trails in the country, the Ice Age Trail is a 1,200 mile long hiking trail found entirely within the state of Wisconsin. The Trail traces the terminal moraine of the glacier from the most recent Ice Age 15,000 years ago.

We’ll highlight tips and tricks for day hiking and backpacking, along with plenty of resources to get you started.
