Exploring the Ice Age Trail – Down Syndrome Association of WI South Central Chapter
September 24, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The Ice Age Trail Alliance is excited to partner with the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin – South Central Chapter for their Pillars of Success offering: Exploring the Ice Age Trail!
DSAW families will explore Ice Age Trail segments that are low-impact, approximately 1-2 miles long, and are estimated to take approximately 1 hour. Attendees are invited to explore the whole section with the group, or join for any parts that work for them.
There will be fun activities to help us enjoy the trails, like a scavenger hunt, Ice Age Trail bingo, engage the senses workshop, and a possible guest appearance of Monty The Mammoth–the Ice Age Trail mascot. Plus, DSAW will have some really fun prizes!
This event is FREE for individuals with Down syndrome and related disabilities, and their families.
Please fill out the DSAW RSVP form, so we can make sure we have enough guides to lead us on our hike and healthy snacks to refuel.
