Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we will NOT be holding the annual New Year’s First Day Hike at Lapham Peak this year. The Wisconsin DNR tells us, “Due to COVID-19, First Day hikes will be a self-guided experience to help keep guides and park visitors healthy and safe.”

We encourage you and those with whom you can safely gather to enjoy the beauty of winter on the IAT by taking your own First Day Hike!
