Kewanee Segment Hike – Lakeshore Chapter
July 10 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Join us to hike a total of 3.7 miles (1.85 out and back) on the Ice Age Trail Kewaunee Segment between the lakefront and Bruemmer County park. The section runs along the Kewaunee River, through wetlands, and into wooded areas. This section of the Ice Age Trail is also the southern terminus of the Ahnapee State Trail.
Note: Last year we hiked this trail starting and ending at Bruemmer Park. This year we are hiking it in reverse, starting at Harbor Park. The hike is on level terrain and should take about two hours. A shuttle will be provided at Bruemmer County Park for those who want to hike only one way. Bring water and mosquito repellant.
We will meet at Harbor Park on the Kewaunee lakefront, across from the world’s tallest Grandfather clock.
Here is an Kewaunee Atlas map to help you find us at the start of the hike: Atlas 127 Kewaunee
