I have planned a small-group hike the week of November 6th. Some participants are staying at the America’s Best Value Inn in Antigo. Holiday Inn Express and Super 8 are also options.

Would hike three days in a row each week. Open segments are the following:

Kettlebowl 9.9 m

Lumber Camp 12 m

Old RailRoad 9.2 m

Highland East 3.4  m

Connecting Route 4.6 miles

Highland West 5.9  m

We would try for about a segment a day or so average 8 miles a day. This would be the last hurrah for fall before deer  hunting starts November 23, 2019. Looking for hikers willing to help shuttle and enjoy the splendor of fall.

Several members of the group are what we call “turtles,” hikers who walk slowly and take a lot of pictures. We also include some “hares,” people who like to hike 9 or more miles at a time. More hares would be appreciated for this outing.
