IAT-U Virtual: Hiker Resources – Trip Planning, Logistics, and Navigation

A wealth of resources exists to help you plan your thousand-mile journey. Are you are planning a thru-hike of the Ice Age Trail or to walk it sections or segments at a time? Either adventure, this workshop is for you. Learn the ins and outs of the interactive hiker resource map, including Trail Alerts. Discover how to use FarOut’s mobile map app, useful for locating trailheads, water sources, or camping sites. Also, learn how to mine the guidance offered on the information-rich pages on the Alliance’s website.
The workshop will offer live demonstrations of the map, app, and website along with an opportunity to ask questions.
