IAT-U Virtual: Think Outside Volunteer Training

March 9 @ 9:00 am - 7:30 pm

Become a volunteer: Help get fourth-graders on the Trail.

Think Outside’s goal is to get 11,000 fourth-graders graders out onto the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. This means we’re organizing lots of hikes with kids. If you’re a retired educator or someone who sincerely enjoys the delightful energy of 10-year-olds, join the fun!

We’re looking for individuals willing to assist teachers with leading hikes, especially as we book outings for Spring and Summer.

We are hosting in-person ( Wednesday, February 16, 9:00 a.m. – noon at Schmeeckle Reserve in Stevens Point, WI) AND virtual volunteer trainings specific to Think Outside and working with kids: Wednesday, March 9 (virtual): 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. OR 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

(You’ll be able to select the day and time of the training which suits you)
