David Underwood was an avid hiker on the Ice Age Trail before he passed away last November.  As a memorial, his brother, Matt, and sister-in-law, Chong Lor, are raising land purchase funds for the Ice Age Trail Alliance.  Besides raising funds, this Legacy of Love event is intended to raise awareness of suicide prevention and the mental health benefits of being in nature.  Kevin Thusius of the IATA and a representative of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will speak.   The event also features live music from Backward Bird and Happenstance, and a silent auction of donated items.  Pizza, appetizers, a nacho buffet and cake will be provided with a cash bar.   Refreshments also include Restoration Cider.  Click the event website link below for a listing of silent auction items and more information about David and the memorial.
