Cancelled: RECONNECT: Waushara County Chapter – Bohn Lake Segment Tread Reroute

July 30 @ 9:00 am - July 31 @ 4:00 pm

Ice Age Trail, Ice Age National Scenic Trail, Reconnect, Trail Improvement Days

This event has been cancelled.

We are joining forces with members of the Waushara County Chapter to address the impact of rising water on the beloved Bohn Lake Segment.

What: After last fall’s successful Mobile Skills Crew event to build a loop trail around Bohn Lake, we thought the Trail was safe from the rising water levels. It was not. Join us as we return to Bohn Lake to construct new Trail higher up on the hillsides.

  • Tools, equipment, and PPE will be provided.
  • Bring your own food and water and camping equipment. There will be no base camp, but there are numerous campgrounds in the area.

When: Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31; 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (each day).

Where: Meet at the Bohn Lake Segment Accessible Hiking Trail parking area on the west side of 9th Drive. Google map directions. View location on the Hiker Resource Map.

GPS coordinates: Longitude -89.4358, Latitude 44.1184
