Whitewater Trail Community Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Village of Whitewater is becoming an Ice Age Tail Community.

To celebrate this designation, join the Ice Age Trail Alliance with it’s Walworth Jefferson County Chapter, Whitewater Tourisum Council and UW-Whitewater students on May 6 for hikes, nature-based activities, a ribbon cutting, and refreshments at the new Ice Age Trail kiosk at Cravath Lake in downtown Whitewater.

Meet at Cravath Lakefront Park

1:00 – 3:00 pm
Hike the Ice Age Trail (transportation will be provided)
Family friendly activities at Cravath Lakefront Park

3:00 pm
Ribbon Cutting at Cravath Lakefront Park, along with family friendly activities & refreshments

4:00 pm
Family-friendly hike (transportation will be provided)

If you plan on joining the festivities, please follow the “Ice Age Trail Event” signs to Cravath Lakefront Park. The celebration officially kicks off at 12:30 pm to meet for the hike along the Ice Age Trail, along with family-friendly events hosted by the UW-Whitewater School of Education students at the park. A ribbon cutting will take place at 3:00 pm followed by a hike for all to enjoy at 4:00 pm. Refreshments will be served throughout the event, while supplies last.
