RECONNECT: Walworth/Jefferson County Chapter Trail Improvement Day.
June 20 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Reconnect with the Ice Age Trail and enjoy the satisfying sense of accomplishment that comes with cutting back hedge parsley, berry bushes, and other invasive plants.
We will meet at HWY 12 parking lot (5 miles east of the city of Whitewater) at 9:00 am, on Saturday, June 20th, for our monthly Trail Improvement Day.
We’ll take appropriate social distancing measures to help all of us stay safe as we work together on the Ice Age Trail.
Please plan to wear a mask when gathering at the event location, meeting fellow volunteers, and as you and the Crew Leader deem appropriate for the task you will be doing and your proximity to others.
There will be no exchanging of tools unless with a member of the same household.
Please bring the following items to add comfort and safety to your volunteer experience:
- A mask
- Leather gloves
- Hand sanitizer
- Bug spray and sunscreen
Please read through the attached documents as they provide additional safety guidelines:
