Washington/Ozaukee County Chapter Trail Improvement

Event details – We will be working on the north end of the Holy Hill Segment to add drainage to address tread erosion, remove invasive species and open up the corridor.
  • We recommend a long-sleeve shirt, pants and hat for trail work.
  • Plan for variable weather – bring warm layers and rain gear if the weather is questionable.
  • Sturdy hiking or work boots (no tennis shoes) and leather work gloves.
  • A bottle of water, backpack, insect repellent, sunscreen

No previous experience is necessary; training is provided by certified volunteer crew leaders. There will be roles for all ages and abilities. Tools will be provided.

Location details: We will meet up in the Holy Hill IAT trailhead south of Glassgo Drive in Hartland. Parking will be on the road. Click here for directions to the meeting location. Watch for yellow “Ice Age Trail Event” signs.
