Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Almost-Full-Moon Evening Hike
March 23, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeJoin us at Pike Lake State Park for a fun night of hiking under an almost-full moon and enjoy a warm bonfire afterwards. This 4-mile loop has some hills and rocky terrain. Hiking poles, hiking boots and water are recommended. Part of the hike will take place after dark, so please bring a headlamp or flashlight.
After the hike, we will have a bonfire at the amphitheater, which is near the parking area and the entrance to the park on the North side. If you would like to stay for the fire, bring a camping chair and beverages and snacks, if desired.
Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and under the owner’s control at all times whenever using the Ice Age Trail. A Wisconsin state park sticker is required. There are restrooms at the starting location.
Watch for the yellow and black Ice Age Trail Event signs to guide you to the starting point. Meet in the parking area to the right after entering the park.
