Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Meeting

April 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Please join us at the Trecker Lodge in Lapham Peak to find out what is new with the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Our presenter will be Annie Weiss, an Ultra-runner, who set the record for the shortest time to complete the Ice Age Trail. Annie ran the entire 1200 miles of the trail in just 21 days, 18 hours and 7 minutes, beating the women’s record by 14 days and the men’s record by 11 hours 53 minutes! As always, our meeting will also include an update on Chapter activities, such as hikes, outreach events, and trail improvement days, followed by a social. Please bring a snack or beverage to share.

Everyone is welcome! If you would like to be a greeter for this meeting, please contact Barb Johnson or Bob Root. It requires arriving by 6:30 pm.

LOCATION: LAPHAM PEAK STATE PARK –  Click here for driving directions. Watch for the “Ice Age Trail Meeting” signs to guide you to the lodge. A Wisconsin state park sticker is required.
