Please join us for the next  meeting of the Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter of the IATA. This meeting will be held at the Delafield Brewhaus. Our presenter will be Melanie McManus,  freelance travel writer and author of “Thousand-Miler” (Wisconsin Historical Society Press, 2017),  a memoir of her record-setting thru-hike of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Melanie has won numerous awards for her writing. According to her blog, she “hikes a lot (+6,800 miles and counting) and wants to inspire and encourage everyone to give it a try.”

As always, the meeting will also include an update on Chapter activities, such as hikes, outreach events, and trail improvement days, followed by a time to socialize.
