Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Meeting

November 15, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Please join us to find out what is new with the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Our guest speaker will be Scott Spoolman, author of Wisconsin State Parks: Extraordinary Stories of Geology and Natural History. Scott will discuss his experiences researching and visiting Wisconsin’s state park. In the Mud Award Nominations are due at the Nov. 15 meeting, with voting to be held at the January, 2019 meet. The In the Mud Award recognizes volunteers who display a willingness to “roll up their sleeves: on behalf of the IAT. They consistently show up at work days, dive into dirty work and make significant efforts to construct and improve the Ice Age Trail.

Our meetings always include an update on our Chapter outings such as hikes, outreach events, and workdays, followed by a social after the meeting. Please bring a snack or beverage to share.

Everyone is welcome! If you would like to be a greeter for this meeting, please contact Kris. It requires arriving by 6:30 pm.

LOCATION: LAPHAM PEAK STATE PARK –  Click here for driving directions. Watch for the “Ice Age Trail Meeting” signs to guide you to the lodge. A Wisconsin state park sticker is required.
