Join us for a mid-week hike as we hike the Blackhawk segment of the Ice Age Trail. This segment meanders through deciduous forest, marshes and tall-grass prairie.

We will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Bald Bluff Parking Lot on Highway H south of Palmyra and there have a variety of options. Some vehicles will stay at Bald Bluff for those wanting a 7-mile hike. We will drop some vehicles at Bluff Road for those hiking the 6-mile route and others at Duffin Road for those hiking the 4+1/2-mile route. We will then drive to Highway 12 to begin our hike.

Hikers should wear comfortable boots/shoes and dress appropriate for the weather. Water and insect repellant are recommended. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. You may want to bring a walking stick.
