Waukesha Milwaukee Chapter National Trails Day Hike

On June 2, people across the country will be celebrating the natural beauty of our nation with a hike on National Trails Day. Join us for Waukesha-Milwaukee Chapter’s own celebration when we will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Ice Age Trail Alliance!

Hikers can choose from 3 hikes:
– 7.5 miles. 9 a.m. Ride shuttle from Nixon Park (Hartland) to Delafield, hike back to Nixon Park.
– 4.5 miles. 10 a.m. Guided hike through the Hartland Marsh on improved trails and boardwalks. Hartland Marsh has been designated a Class 1 Wildlife Habitat (leashed dogs allowed)
– Tyke Hike, 10 a.m. Discover the Trail through service and play. Meet at Nixon Park. This hike is accessible and paved

Before your hike, please arrive early to register at Nixon Park. 

After the hike, stay for more fun and food in Nixon Park. with Splash Pad, hula hoop games, music, food and refreshments.

Hikers should dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes/hiking boots. Water and bug spray are recommended.
