Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter National Trails Day Hike
June 1, 2019 @ 8:45 am - 12:00 pmFree
Join in a hike on the Ice Age Trail to commemorate National Trails Day, when people across the country “take a hike” to celebrate the gift of our nation’s trails. The Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter of the IATA, REI and Waukesha County Conservation will host a morning of service (removing invasive plants ) and a hike on the Monches segment of the IAT. We’ll begin with garlic mustard pulling for one hour. We’ll take a break and then enjoy a guided nature hike on this beautiful segment with WCC biologist, Julia Robson.
