Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Trail Improvement Day

May 1, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join us for a Trail Improvement Day in the Hartland Marsh loop of the Ice Age Trail! We will be continuing a great clearing project, removing buckthorn, honeysuckle and garlic mustard. These clearing projects are so valuable for helping native plants thrive and restoring the beautiful woods surrounding the IAT.

No experience is necessary. All tools and training will be provided. Wear sturdy footwear and long pants. Work gloves are a must. Plan to bring water and plenty of energy for a rewarding and safe day on the trail!

If you have not filled out the National Park Service Volunteer Agreement Form, please download, fill it out and bring it with you. https://www.iceagetrail.org/wp-content/uploads/x_INDIVIDUAL-301A-COVID-Packet.pdf  We will have extra forms onsite. For safety reasons, participation will be limited to 30 volunteers.

Park at the Ice Age Trail Parking Lot on Cottonwood Avenue. Watch for the yellow Ice Age Trail Event signs.
