Join us for a hike on the Pike Lake Unit of the Ice Age Trail in Kettle Moraine. All families are welcome!

Tyke Hikes are short, slow-paced hikes promoting nature and family hiking on a portion of the Ice Age Trail.  They emphasize children’s natural curiosity and provide opportunities for exploration, discovery and play. Tyke Hikes last approximately 1-2 hours and can cover up to 1.5 miles. They are led. by Peter Dargatz, a forest kindergarten teacher and Ice Age Trail volunteer.

Hikers should dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes/hiking boots. Water and bug spray are recommended. A State Parks sticker is required to enter the park.
