Waukesha/Milwaukee County Chapter Hike in Monches
November 14, 2015 @ 10:00 am
Please join us for a hike along the Oconomowoc River, as we traverse through a wooded, mature maple forest on this beautiful segment of the Ice Age Trail. The hike will be an out and back distance of about 4-5 miles. Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable hiking boots. Walking sticks and water are recommended. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet and under the owner’s control at all times.
LOCATION: MONCHES – SOUTH SIDE – Meet at the Ice Age National Scenic Trail parking lot on E. Kilbourne Road, just west of Cty E. Click here for driving directions. Watch for yellow “Ice Age Trail Event” signs.
NOTE: During November, some trails in Waukesha County are open to the public for hunting. Hiking is allowed in these areas, but trail users are encouraged to wear bright colored clothing.
