Waukesha/Milwaukee County Chapter Tyke Hike
May 21, 2016 @ 10:00 amFree
Marshes play a pivotal role in Wisconsin’s history and are essential to our future. Come meander in the marsh!
Families with children of all ages are encouraged to attend! Tyke Hikes are short, slow-paced hikes promoting nature and family hiking on a portion of the Ice Age Trail. They last approximately 1-2 hours and can cover up to 1.5 miles. Tyke Hikes are led by Peter Dargatz, a forest kindergarten teacher and Ice Age Trail volunteer. Post-hike educational materials and certificates for children will be provided.
Please meet at the parking lot where Maple Avenue (Cty E) and Hartwood Lane intersect in Hartland. Watch for the yellow Ice Age Trail signs to guide you to the location.
