Waushara County Chapter’s 23rd annual Fall Color Hike and Dog Walk

October 16 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Let’s explore the Ice Age National Scenic Trail and the beauty of the fall colors on the Mecan River Segment. Enjoy not only beautiful river views, but also the Mecan Springs, the pristine headwaters of the Mecan River.

This is an afternoon of healthy activity and fun for the whole family including your dog. You’re welcome to hike at your own pace or join fellow hikers. Please wear comfortable hiking boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a friend, water bottle and don’t forget your camera!

Event Details & Location:

Parking/Trail Access: 6th Lane and Chicago Rd. (North of Hwy. 21 and West of Wautoma) (Follow ICE AGE TRAIL EVENT Signs). Google map directions here.

Admission: $5/person (FREE for students and dogs.) Includes a snack & doggie treats. (Doggie treats provided by our friends at Front Porch Pets in Wild Rose)

Please bring a friend, a water bottle, and remember your camera! Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather
