Waushara County Chapter’s “Walk-the-Waush“ Challenge 2020

We are excited to announce the Walk-the-Waush summer Challenge 2020 hosted in collaboration with the Waushara County Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance, the Waushara County Health Department and the Waushara County Parks Department is ON!
There are a few changes this year. We made all the materials you need to participate available online.
The challenge runs from June 20 – August 31, 2020. The challenge is FREE and open to Walkers, Runners and Hikers of all ages and abilities. Challenge yourself, friends, family, and coworkers to each walk as many miles as you can! The goal is to walk as many miles as possible. The more miles logged = more chances to win prizes!
All participants should record their mileage on their own log sheet. Only trails in the Walk Waushara Trail Map Book are eligible to use for the Challenge.

Participants must register for the challenge. There are two ways to register.
Once you have registered, please pick up a Walk Waushara Trail Map Book, log sheet, and other materials from the Health Department or access them online.

All participants should record their mileage on their own log sheets. Print your own log sheet here:
The Walk Waushara Trail Map Book is available online at the Waushara County Parks Department website.
Prizes And Awards:
Participants that complete a minimum of 10 miles will be eligible for awards and prizes. The participant with the most logged mileage will be recognized and presented with an award. Participants will be entered into a prize level drawing based on total mileage submitted. One name will be drawn from each prize level.
Prize levels are: Navigator: 100+ miles, Adventurer: 75+ miles, Explorer: 25+ miles, Hiker: 10+ miles
Prize details will be announced during the challenge through email notification and on social media.
Remember, people can register at any time throughout the challenge, so if you have friends and family members who would want to join in, forward this information to them!
