We'll clear invasive bush and weed trees from the "back 40" of the park along or behind the terminal moraine. We'll need trained and properly equipped chain sawyers, plus swampers to haul and pile the cuttings. We'll burn slash piles if there is snow cover and cook lunch over the coals. Most of the route we'll follow is wide enough to accommodate skiers and walkers on parallel tracks. Although the footwear and your preferred mode of travel may vary with the conditions, this event goes on regardless. It usually includes hot chocolate warmed over the coals of a slash pile.
