Seeking Our Next Director of Philanthropy

Use your philanthropic skills to positively impact the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. The Ice Age Trail Alliance seeks a dynamic individual who can use their savvy and know-how to sustain Alliance programing and grow the Trail. You’ll feel good knowing the results of your work support volunteers, help conserve land and restore property, give kids their first experience on Trail, and get the Trail closer to completion. This full-time, permanent position is a great opportunity for someone ready to take Alliance fundraising efforts to new heights.

A great applicant will have:

  • Proven experience designing and managing successful philanthropic efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills, which engage and inspire donors.
  • Great leadership skills with the ability to motivate, unify, and influence.
  • Ability to work strategically and contribute to organizational goals.
  • Proficient database management and fundraising software skills.
  • A passion for the Ice Age Trail and the programs of the Alliance.

Internships

 

We believe in helping the next generation of conservationists gain valuable experience in recreation, land preservation and the nonprofit industry. Unpaid internships are available in our Lands, Trail, and Outreach and Education program areas, usually beginning in the spring.
